Those of you with modems might not want to view the larger image. It's about 1000X800 pixels. I'm going to upload a smaller version to my Side 7 and VCL accounts, if anyone is interested. Sorry :/
And...yes, Jenni. Pretty much the whole picture is symbolism.
I'd love to hear interpretations of this, if anyone has any thoughts on its meaning.
holy fzck, oh my..
this is some SUPERB drawing technique.. wow..
totally awesome.. I love the two sentinels.. the dragon above the door
the linework and shadowing.. all of it..
any touchup work digitally on this?
dude, great job!
It reminded me of the setup for a Final Fantasy scene or something.. or purely a fantasy fiction role scene.. i dunno. *rambles*
either way, kick ass..
That is absolutely bad ass.
Your shading techniques are freakin' flawless, IMO and the textures are wonderful.
Those steps look like stone steps and those cracks have excellent detail.
The texture on the right figure is wonderful.
The texture on the left figure honestly looks like scaly skin. Not a drawing of scaly skin, but scaly skin! The folds are so intricate...

You finally finished it! great. My only complaint is that you didnt backlight Arkuei. i think it would have made him/her stand out more.
I still think it's really incredable!
X_x..... *dead with awe*
Theres some sort of Left=dark and evil, right=light and good thing going on there. very cool.
I dunno what the sybolism with the blind critter on the stairs is tho.

Such complex detail and fantastic imagery! I'm loving the movement of this piece, you did a brilliant job. The little guy in the middle is especially cool, love the robe. I love seeing huge final pieces from you.
I muchly agree with the person who said good vs. evil on this. Only it appears that evil is winning. That is of course that is assuming that the whiter one on the right is representing good. I believe so because the wing on the relic dragon is winged on that side and on the other it looks more bat-like or demonic. And the bell...not sure what that means. Clarity? Hmm... well anyways, good appears to be loosing because of the floor crumbling under it. Also it's craking itself and appears to be pointing to the draconic rune carved in the door. Now, for the causualty and injury toll in your description..uh, no idea what that's supposed to mean. But the way the anthro-figure seems to be blindfolded makes me think that he might be the one helping out the bad because he's been misguided and blinded from the truth? Ok, that's probably way off....but hey, you asked for interpretation. Awesome pic tho, appearance wize. The shading, as usual, is spectacular, and the finished piece is so pretty! Wonderful job!!!
This is incredible work! Wonderful detail even down to the tiny scales on the dragon! This must have taken loads of time to finish. And you did a supurb job on it! Excellent work!
